Controversial preacher Kanyari back at it with gambling program

 The controversial   pastor is engaging in another money-making scheme, similar to the one that earned him disgrace and partly led to his separation from gospel singer Betty Bayo. In his TV stations Kanyari tells his viewers that he will send them KSh 30, 000 on the condition that they should first send him KSh 500. "Nimesema ukinitumia mia tano nakutumia elfu thelathini, ukituma mia tatu nakutimia elfu saba na ukituma mia mbili nakutumia elfu mbili, wewe ndio nangojea nikushughulikie (If you send KSh 500 I will send you KSh 30,000. If you send KSh 300 you will receive KSh 7,000 and KSh 200 will earn you KSh 2000. It is you I am waiting for)" he said.  He assures the audience that each of the first 30 people are eligible for the prize money which he calls the jackpot. Linda Okello, a former traffic police officer who became famous after a photo of her in police uniform went viral in 2014, has opened up on how the incident turned her life upside down.  Now a behaviour therapist based in the US, Linda recalls how the unsolicited attention and fame brought trouble to her doorstep as she became one of the most searched people on Google.  “I worked with the police force for 16 years before quitting and silently leaving the country for the United States of America. In the images captured by CCTV cameras, the unidentified woman is seen attempting to escape from the victim’s residence at Woodley Annex–Upper by scaling through the perimeter wall. Erick Maigo: Nairobi Hospital Finance Director stubbed to death by a mysterious woman.

  Police have launched a manhunt for a mystery woman suspected to be behind the murder of Nairobi Hospital Acting Finance Director Eric Maigo. Maigo, 36, was Friday morning found murdered in his house in Woodley estate, Nairobi. He was found dead at his home with 16 stab wounds, 10 at the chest and the others on his sides. According to the police, the woman in question was at the deceased’s home at the time of his death and is the prime suspect. Neighbours who heard Maigo groaning in pain rushed to his rescue but the woman in question declined to open the door, claiming that all was well but had escaped by the time police arrived at the scene. “We are still on the case, but the neighbours said they heard him groaning in pain and the woman who was in the house refused to open the door, but  had escaped when police arrived ,”  Kilimani Police Station boss Moss Ndiwa confirmed to a section of the press. The woman in question whose identity is yet to be established is suspected to have esc
